The Controversial Taken by Force Album

Taken by Force by the Scorpion hard rock band is the fifth studio album of the group. It was released in 1978 and this was the final album to feature guitarist Ulrich Jon Roth. Matthias Jabs replaced Roth after he left the band in 1978. Like any other of the album of the band, the cover art for their Taken by Force album had stirred the market and causing again controversy. The original concept of the cover was children playing with guns at military cemetery. This had caused criticisms and there are individuals who had expressed mixed emotions through working on professional writing company articles regarding the cover and what it meant to them. Some finds it offensive while others don’t care. It is because people will always have conflicting thoughts and ideas about a given subject just like when you make essays cheap where you wanted to prove something which is either to conform to the existing principles or to go against it. The album consists of 8 track songs and on its CD reissue, it added two additional songs. Most of the versions of this album feature the edited version of “The Sails of Charon.” It was edited in order to remove the “psychedelic” like sound-effects introduction. And the intro does not contain any music of the band at all. The song “The Sails of Charon” was also used in the video game Gran Turismo 5.
